Belief in God is rooted and established among the people. Man is by nature to live in conflict with nature. Therefore, worship and places of worship become one and the same with Him. People saw the divine in the natural forces around them. Deities are believed to reside in forest, mountain, water, wood, land, sea, stone, etc. Here and there, the tenets of the scriptures point out the divine food and rituals which are essential for the life of the people.
